Greenberg also concluded early in his career that abstract art, unlike many of its stylistic predecessors such as Impressionism and Fauvism, did not blur the boundaries between various art forms. Any fear may, of course, actually be delusional and therefore serve as an indication of paranoia, but without any evidence from the text to suggest that the fear is not based on reasonable judgment (and there is absolutely none), a convincing diagnosis that a given fear is unfounded requires an extratextual, biographical judgment that the poet was documenting very real anxiety, which is nonetheless unjustified by the circumstances of the poet's life—precisely the kind of biographical judgment Moon refuses to make.

Essentialism states that a sound body of basic knowledge has to be attained before further learning can take place. And at the same time he shows a warm understanding of the non-academic type. The number of full-time "International Reps" grew and their power over contract administration increased. Americans have grown into the role and most expect it to continue as if a fact of nature. To do so, we need to think less in terms of proper names and more in terms of processes, but I fear we remain too closely anchored to the former.

After all, the aim of the lie is to get you to act � or not act � differently that you would have had I told you the truth, even if the lie is about something trivial (your new sweater). A related argument is that nationalism is a reaction to communist ideology's denial of national identity based on its promotion of the all-embracing concept of 'homo-Sovieticus' which sought to foster the illusion of homogeneity. 10 In other words, it is an identity response to the vacuum left after the collapse of communist rule.
